Fantastische Erfahrung: My experience was really good with George. He is honest about the process and his recommendations have been valuable for me. He doesn't force anyone to take classes but definitely recommend it. I didn't listened to him at first but after failing my first attempt, I realized that he was right about taking classes. Do listen to the instructor! After taking classes, I cleared the test. Thank you.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I received my DL in my first attempt on 28th October 2024. This is an efficient driving school even if you don’t speak German(I don’t). More difficult than learning to drive was to unlearn Indian driving habits , which George helped me with very effectively. The school and trainer deserves a 5 star. Below are my observations. Pros: 1) The office staff(Saima) and trainer(George) are professional, to the point and clear in communication 2) Driving lessons are precisely to the point 3) Helps with an English app for theory preps, appointments for first aid course, eye test and photos for a nominal price 4) Focuses on your driving errors and you get to revisit the difficult situation many times 5) Overall an enjoyable experience Cons: 1) They accept only cash for payments 2) Sometimes the frequency of classes is very low, on one instance i had to wait for 2-3 weeks before another class even though I was open to anytime Despite this, I would definitely recommend this Fahrschule for getting your Führerschein. Fantastische Erfahrung: I recently got my driving license issued in Germany and had a wonderful experience with Fahrschule Mentor. To start with Saima who takes care of enrollment and scheduling for theory exam was very co-operative when it came to explaining the entire process of getting a driver license. What stood out was absolute clarity in explaining all the steps and the corresponding costs involved. After clearing my theory exam , i immediately got in touch with George who is responsible for Practical Sessions. George was instrumental especially for me to unlearn all the bad driving habits i had inculcated from driving in India and getting accustomed to the German way of driving. Fantastische Erfahrung: It is one of the best driving schools in Frankfurt. George is the best driving teacher you could ask for. He got me ready for driving in just 5 classes and I passed in the first attempt. He even insisted not to have an extra class before the exam because he knew I was ready and had confidence in me.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Everything went pretty well. Got my license in 2nd attempt. Joined in December 2022 and got my license in November 2023. Pros: 1.Good teaching style- straight forward on face 2. English support is there 3. Flexible schedule, you can finish practical classes in literally 2 weeks in contrast other schools take months. Cons: 1. Receptionist didn't tell me that English first aid course is available and she registered me in German one. Could have told me at least that English one is available too 2. Scheduling can be a little bit of pain if you want to take classes after office since they have only 1 instructor. There could be a case that you have to wait 2 months to get a chance to start driving classes. Everything else went really good and smooth. I was happy in the end.

Fantastische Erfahrung: My Overall experience with Fahrschule Mentor Driving School was excellent. George is an experienced, passionate and committed instructor and takes his job very seriously. His approach and training methods are very professional and he ensures we learn and practice all do’s and don’ts of driving. I have been driving from last 20 years in India and US and sometime I use to get frustrated doing same thing again and again during training. But later realized that driving environment, culture in Germany is very different. Specially narrow roads in residential area’s, cyclists, sometime car parked both the side etc. German culture to follow rules and expect other to follow too. Fantastische Erfahrung: A year ago I was introduced to Fahrschule Mentor by a colleague who got his drivers license here and had wonderful things to say about them. I can now say they all stand true! I initially spoke to Saima & Urszula during my interactions for registration, theory test dates and fee structure. All my queries either face to face, over email or calls were always answered satisfactorily. They also speak English, so it’s a relief. Practical lessons are taken by George. He is a teacher who genuinely thinks and wants good for his students. He speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi apart from German. So there is always one less thing to worry about and only concentrate on the driving! My lessons were always a mix of learning, great conversations, a bit of George loosing his cool over my repeated mistakes and then feedback at the end of each class. George valued time and money and so he was always on time and never really stressed on extra classes. Once he was confident on my driving he would encourage me to take the driving test. But I was nervous while I gave my driving test and could not make it twice. It was only in my third attempt I was able to clear it. But this time I cleared it with no mistakes and it only made me more confident on my driving. I can only thank George for his continuous support and positive talks. If i had to do it all over again, I would still choose this Fahrschule. Thanks you George & team!

The instructor, Mr George, was very specific and emphasised what was good and what was not good so I could keep in mind what he said. I really made use of it in the PRACTICAL exam. Students who do not speak German have no problems at all. English is also available.

Negative Erfahrung: Stay away from George who is the trainer in this school. Don't believe other Google reviews those are paid reviews. 4.9 rating is fake. My experience with this school, 1. Untill practical lesson it was good reception. 2. When I meet George bad day starts, he will use mobile phone and simply sit next you until you do mistakes.he will never teach you rather he will expect and wait for your mistakes to point out and by that way he will put you for more classes and loot money. 3. If you ask any questions then he will put in trouble. I lost 2300 euro and end up with no licence and left this school. Because of other Google fake reviews I went to this school by mistake, you don't do that. Best of luck. Hope they will not remove this review by paying to Google. Fantastische Erfahrung: Most Important: You will pass the exam!! (If you follow what George teaches you..!!). This school will not exploit you for more money - George will send you to exam when you are ready. I actually asked (read 'begged' to give me few more lessons before I went into my practical exam (and George kept saying I am ready and don't need more classes..!). In driving school business, you don't often come across such experience where school is refusing to make more money and being honest. And that is exactly why I recommend this school to everyone. I liked George's approach - Learn to know, not to pass the exam! And this is reflected in everything he makes you do - From theory to practical. George has a peculiar way of teaching which reminds me of my school teachers - insisting on being correct always and everytime, expecting you to be prepared and TRUST him as well as yourself. Cheat Sheet: 1. For a great experience in your driving license journey, keep your EGO at home and surrender to your teacher. Trust that he means best for you! 2. Book your lessons early as George is very busy. If you have urgency, then let George know about it well in time and he will do all he can to find time for you. 3. Он прекрасно общается на английском, если вы пока не выучили немецкий. Методика преподавания- ненавязчивая езда с указанием и разбором ошибок в вождении, что мне очень понравилось. Negative Erfahrung: I don't know about the experienced drivers but for the new drivers, be prepared to lose your time ,money, energy, and confidence if you register here.all the negative reviews are true.i honestly don't know how this school is getting all the positive reviews. The lady who works at the front desk looks like she hates her job. They have only one instructor who is "full of himself" to handle all the students. Leaving this school was the best decision I've made.i was able to gain my confidence and pass the practical exam on the first attempt In two months since I left this horrible school which would have been impossible to do in mentor.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I want to share my extremely positive experience with Mentor. I was getting absolutely clear guidance during the whole procedure of exchanging my foreign driver's license to the local one. I took several practice lessons that helped me a lot to understand German driving culture and rules. George is the best instructor ever - highlightes a mistake and explains why it is dangerous. I have seen people sitting next to me during class and discussing with me how they have given so many attempts but couldn’t pass the exam in their previous school. I like his approach of letting you get comfortable with the driving on German roads rather than pressing on rules from Day 1. Once you have the confidence to drive I guess it’s easier to follow rules. Ofcourse Hindi classes was a cherry on the cake! Am grateful for their constant encouragement, professional ways of teaching, giving tips for the test and never pushing me for more classes when he felt wasn’t necessary (a rarest quality to find in Germany). I got my driving license in less than 12 classes and he was kind to support me to arrange for the test as soon as possible. Language was an absolute comfort. Fantastische Erfahrung: Passed my theory and practical exam in first attempt. I had to convert my Indian license to German so didn't have to take theory lessons so can't comment on theory lessons experience. The entire process from registration to getting a license was smooth. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to book earliest theory exam date as possible. After passing exam you can directly connect with George. He will just focus on your mistakes and negative aspects of driving keeping in mind you already know all the rules after passing theory exam. He won't rush you or deliberately ask for extra lessons. As soon as he feels you are ready for exam he will put you on the list and you'll get the practical exam date. On the exam date as well he asked me to relax and drive as I used to in lessons and after passing the exam I could genuinely see how happy he was for me. Definitely this driving school is a bit expensive compared to some other schools and they only accept cash but you anyways know it at the time of registration and from personal experience it was worth it. During driving lessons even if George gets angry or shouts at you don't get offended because you won't make those mistakes at the time of exam for sure. Fantastische Erfahrung: I recently passed the practical exam. A big thanks to George and entire support staff of Mentor. George has been really supportive and guided me through the journey. As he speaks Hindi, English I was really comfortable clearing my doubts and learning along with him. The Intensive Practical lessons are bit pricy but it's worth paying if you want your driving licence in short time. The support staff are really helpful, they are really responsive and overall I had pleasant experience at Mentor.

He is a no-nonsense person who will pin point to your mistakes which can lead you to fail in exam. Getting a German license can be a Hercules tasks when it comes to taking classes. I have some known people with other Farhschule who have taken 22 (90 min) classes before going for exams and some even still struggling with classes. This is simply not the case with Farhschule Mentor. He does not spent time of unnecessary things and targets to cover maximum shortcomings in one lesson. Being an experienced driver from non-EU country is another challenge as you have to unlearn many things, whichI feel is additional step as compared to a totally new driving. George helps identify those points from very first class, so that we can get rid of them as quickly as possible. Total recommendation from my side for Farhschule Mentor !!

He got me ready for the driving in just 5 classes and I passed in the first attempt. He even insisted not to have an extra class before the exam because he knew I was ready and had confidence in me. In his very first class he told me that if I wanna get license in the first attempt and in less time then all I have to do is to cooperate with him and follow his advice. So guys , whoever refers to these google reviews to judge / understand Mentor Fahrschule in order to decide whether to join Mentors or not, for them ,I can only say make George your driving mentor and trust his way of teaching. Fantastische Erfahrung: Preparing us for "independently driving" is what Fahrschule Mentor offers. George is an amazing mentor who figures out our strengths/ weaknesses in the initial classes and provides pointed feedback in every session. My practical sessions were split into 2 phases, Phase -1 is all about letting us understanding the basics, understanding the common errors and practicing until we are fully confident. Phase 2 is about intense sessions on driving in Autobahn, 30 Zones and other typical scenarios we face during "real time driving". Every session ends with a detailed feedback from George and begins with an objective of avoiding a mistake I did in the previous session. I regret missing the theory crash course with George, this would have come in handy during test and practical lessons as its tailored to drive but not to merely pass the theory test. Despite being a slow learner, George was extremely positive and encouraged me to take the test and made me complete the entire course in under 3 months with just 1 attempt. Again, if you are someone looking to drive in Germany for a long term, I would recommend Fahrschule Mentor. Because passing the driving test comes by default and a given here.
