Fantastische Erfahrung: City Drive is a great driving school with very nice and friendly people. The instructors are patient, supportive, and create a relaxed learning atmosphere. I felt comfortable and well prepared throughout my lessons. Highly recommended!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich würde die Fahrschule definitiv weiterempfehlen. Definitively recommended.

Negative Erfahrung: Ich bin selten so enttäuscht worden wie von dieser Fahrschule. Von Anfang an wirkte alles chaotisch und unorganisiert. Klare Absprachen gab es kaum, Termine wurden unzuverlässig vergeben und man hatte ständig das Gefühl, eher im Weg zu sein als etwas zu lernen. Statt Unterstützung oder gutem Unterricht gab es Verwirrung, Stress und das Gefühl, völlig auf sich allein gestellt zu sein. Für mich war das Ganze reine Zeit- und Geldverschwendung! Ich kann nur dringend empfehlen, sich vorher gut umzusehen – es gibt definitiv Fahrschulen, die professioneller arbeiten und ihre Schüler ernst nehmen!

Negative Erfahrung: Verdient hat diese Fahrschule eigentlich garkeinen Stern. Aber ohne Stern kann ich hier leider nichts bewerten. Herr Voss sollte seine Fahrschule an den Fahrlehrer Tobi weitergeben. Das würde besser funktionieren. Ich kann so nur abraten dort sein Geld zu versenken. Augen auf bei der Wahl der Fahrschule.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This review is long overdue. The instructors are all very kind, but I must especially highlight my instructor, Tobi. He genuinely cares about his students’ success and makes sure to cover everything needed not only for the exam but also for real-life driving. Despite having over 15 years of experience from my home country, I still learned valuable tips and tricks from him. Many thanks to Tobi!

Fantastische Erfahrung: The best driving school, especially for those who only speak English. Both driving instructors, Tobi and Frank, are absolutely fantastic! They are very patient and understanding. Mistakes are not met with frustration but rather with a smile. Their dedication to their students is truly admirable. On the day of my exam, Frank was very sick, yet he still showed up just for my test. I cannot thank these instructors enough!

Fantastische Erfahrung: 这是用德语表达的版本： „Es war eine wirklich wunderbare Lernerfahrung. In dieser Fahrschule sind die Lehrer Frank und Tobi sehr geduldig und bringen dir bei, wie man sicher fährt. Auch wenn du kein Deutsch sprichst, ist das kein Problem, da beide Lehrer sehr gut Englisch sprechen und sehr freundlich in der Kommunikation sind. Außerdem kannst du während der Fahrstunden jederzeit Fragen stellen, und sie werden dir deine Fragen sehr detailliert beantworten. Ich habe meine Fahrstunden in etwas mehr als drei Monaten abgeschlossen, und das verdanke ich vollständig der sorgfältigen Anleitung und Unterstützung der beiden Lehrer.“

Negative Erfahrung: Als Ausländer würde ich diese Fahrschule definitiv nicht empfehlen. Eine der wenigen englischsprachigen Fahrschulen, was der einzige Grund für die Wahl war. Während des praktischen Unterrichts wird der Teilnehmer mit Informationen sehr viel gegeben und macht schließlich viele klein Fehler. Das wiederum erhöht die zu nehmenden Unterrichtseinheiten, was den gesamten Prozess sehr kostspielig macht. Es ist gut, dies im Hinterkopf zu behalten, da man am Ende viel mehr bezahlt als erwartet.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Es hat Spaß gemacht mit Tobi und Frank fahren zu lernen - sie zeigen und erklären alles. Wenn jemand auf der Suche nach einer deutsch- und englischsprachigen Fahrschule ist, kann ich City Drive sehr empfehlen.

Fantastische Erfahrung: #Driving Class B197# Time Frame: It took me approximately 1.5 years from register for classes to passing the practical exam. Required time was lengthy because of exam appointment issues, car change and instructors holiday plans!! Though I have basic experience of driving in my country, I started from scratch here. Car: 1x Audi Q5 (manual transmission), 1x Marcedes GLC coupe (automatic), 1x Range Rover Evoque (automatic, discontinued) Cost: Theory lessons including English book and app subscription for 1 year was roughly 600 euros (14 days 14 lessons 14 chapter). Approximate budget should be around 4000 Euros (including everything). Instructors: Frank and Tobi are highly experienced and well-trained. If you are a foreigner and speak English, communication is easy. They are native German speakers but also speak excellent English. They teach all rules and regulations during driving sessions, repeating instructions in both English and German to ensure you understand everything for the exam. Payments: Cash only!! Suggestions will be to introduce card and online transfer. Tips for Practical Test: Trust your instructor's judgment on when you are ready. Do not rush the test. Stay calm during the exam, follow all rules

Fantastische Erfahrung: I simply don’t have words that can describe and pay gratitude to my amazing instructors; Mr Frank and Tobi . They are absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune your areas of weaknesses. I have been lucky to have them as my instructor and thanks to them for transforming me into a confident driver on the road. I have passed my exam in the first attempt and I truly enjoyed the entire experience of learning. Thanks for your effective teaching strategy in driving and for being an optimistic instructor. Fantastische Erfahrung: I converted my national driving licence from City Drive. I would like to write some words here (Information based on my case, which is Conversion/Umschreibung - Class B197). Time Frame: It took me almost 6 months from translating the national licence to the date I passed the practical exam. Cost: Varies person to person / depends on how good you are at driving / how many attempts you tried for the tests. Usually, make a budget somewhere around 2800-3200(+/-) Euro (including everything!). Instructors: Frank and Tobias are very experienced and well-trained instructors. If you are foreigner and you can speak English, then there is no problem in communication at all. They are native German speaker but also can speak very good English. They teach every rules and regulations during the driving hours. When instructing they say it twice (in English and in German) so that you have no problem understanding the instructor in the exam. Problems: One issue I faced was with the payments. They accept only cash. In my opinion, digital payment options (Card, PayPal etc.) would be a very nice and convenient alternative. Personal Suggestion: For theory test – Only register when you make no mistakes at all on mock tests on the App. For practical test – Trust your instructor. Do not hurry to give the test. Your instructor knows when you are ready for the exam. Take no stress during the practical exam. Follow every rule and always keep your eyes open for signs. I wish you all the best. Fantastische Erfahrung: Much respect for Herr Frank, he really is an experienced instructor, as a student, I could only suggest that you must have patience when learning and practicing, it may take longer but you should be able to enjoy the journey. Got my license in a second try. The cars are very good. Communication is nice, and Mr. Frank is a good guy.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Wir haben eine Fahrschule gesucht, bei welcher Schwierigkeiten mit der deutschen Sprache keine Rolle spielen und man grundsätzlich willkommen ist. Meine Frau konnte sich auf Englisch verständigen und letztlich auch die Theorie in Englisch absolvieren. Der Unterricht in der praktischen Ausbildung war sehr professionell und vertrauenswürdig, so dass sie schon bald selbstbewusst am Steuer saß. Die Fahrschule ist sehr zu empfehlen, hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und es werden nur die Stunden absolviert, welche auch nachvollziehbar benötigt werden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die freundliche und hilfsbereite Art von Herrn Voss.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Hätte mir keine bessere Fahrschule aussuchen können. Frank war immer kompetent und freundlich. Auch wenn er wegen mir ein paar graue Haare mehr bekommen hat, auch bei der Prüfung ;-) war ich ihm für jeden Tipp und jedes Feedback dankbar. Es war eine angenehme Atmosphäre und er hat mir immer sehr viel Sicherheit gegeben. Vielen Dank für die hervorragende Begleitung zum bestandenen Führerschein.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I had a good driving experience with Frank and could pass the exam easily in the first try. I'd say that he's great in his job and his comments are very practical and to-the-point. After each driving lesson we had, he'd summarized my strengths and weaknesses, helping me to focus on the areas that I needed to pay attention more. With close to 40 years of experience as a driving instructor, Frank exactly knows when you are ready to the exam. You just need to trust him. I highly recommend him to especially those who are in search for a english-speaking instructor.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I was converting my driving license and he teaches exactly what you need or where you are lacking. No doubt that he is a really good Fahrlehrer/Trainer. Overall my experience is really good. Only small remark I would say is, waiting period is more. Probably corona might also be the reason.
