Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich war schon verzweifelt als ich zu dieser Schule kam. Ich habe bereits 2 Fahrschulen gewechselt, weil die Fahrlehrer mich angeschrien haben- was fürs Fahren lernen kontraproduktiv war. Auf Empfehlung kam ich zum Herrn Khomski. Er ist ein sehr erfahrerener und geduldiger Lehrer. Das Fahren mit ihm hat Spaß gemacht und ich habe mich sicher gefühlt. Er hat alles sehr geduldig erklärt. Vielen Dank

Negative Erfahrung: Meiden Sie diese Fahrschule um jeden Preis! Falls Sie sich bereits angemeldet haben, betrachten Sie sich als gefangen. Sie bestehen darauf, dass alle 14 Theoriestunden vor der Prüfung verpflichtend sind, führen diese jedoch kaum durch. Selbst wenn Sie sich eigenständig mit der App vorbereitet haben, müssen Sie die Stunden persönlich besuchen – nur um dann vergeblich zu warten. Die Kurse finden selten statt, und wenn Sie Glück haben, bekommen Sie vielleicht ein bis zwei pro Monat. Ihre Zeit, Ihr Geld und Ihre Mühe scheinen ihnen völlig egal zu sein. Und wenn Sie hoffen, nach der bestandenen Theorieprüfung zeitnah mit den Praxisstunden beginnen zu können – vergessen Sie es! Wenn sie nicht einmal die Theorie organisieren können, stellen Sie sich vor, wie lange Sie auf Ihre Fahrstunden warten müssen. Falls Sie drei bis vier Jahre Zeit haben, können Sie sich gerne bei dieser Fahrschule anmelden. Viel Glück!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Die beste Fahrschule in Köln! Ich habe meinen Führerschein beim ersten Versuch bestanden und bin sehr dankbar für die Fahrstunden (Automatik- und Schaltgetriebe) bei Herrn Khomski. Er ist äußerst kompetent und freundlich und erklärt alles sehr verständlich. Ich möchte nicht nur Herrn Khomski danken, sondern auch Sydney für die Theoriestunden und dafür, dass er mich zur Prüfung begleitet hat, da Herr Khomski leider nicht dabei sein konnte. Massive shoutout to the staff members who helped me understand the intricacies of driving rules while focusing on topics where I personally needed help with and guided me throughout the process. I got counselling from Fahrschule Brose in English as well wherever necessary.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I am writing to express my appreciation for my driving instructors, Robby and Sydney. One of the things I really valued was that they offered lessons in English, which made the entire learning process much smoother and more comfortable for me. A special shout-out to Sydney, who was incredibly detail-oriented and always took the time to address even my smallest questions. Thanks to Sydney's guidance and meticulous approach, I felt thoroughly prepared for every part of the driving test. Negative Erfahrung: Giving it one star because there is no option to give zero or negative ratings. Don't get fooled by the image that people here speak English. The driving instructor is not at all helpful or considerate and shouts at small things, makes faces and is always at the edge. I am not giving this review because i failed my driving test. Even if i would have passed the test my review would have been same. During the driving test, suddenly just 2 min before the test would end, my driver started touching the steering wheel even though there was so much gap between the cars parked. This should be told by the Tüv Instructor and not by the driving teacher. He was the one pointing out mistakes during my exam which made me feel that indeed he wants me to fail. So to sum it up. Avoid this School. Go to another fahrschule which is much reputed and where you have an option to change the instructor. PLEASE DONT JOIN THIS ONE. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich habe hier vor kurzem meinen Führerschein direkt im ersten Durchlauf bestanden und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Schaltstunden bei Sydney waren entspannt und spaßig und ich habe gelernt wie man in allen verschiedenen Alltagssituationen mit einem Schaltwagen umgeht. Zusätzlich waren die Automatikstunden bei Herrn Khomski weltklasse und sehr lehrreich. Man wird ohne Druck geschult und ist immer top vorbereitet auf die Prüfung. Herrn Khomski ist sehr qualifiziert und man lernt nicht nur für die Prüfung, sondern auch für die Fahrten nach der Prüfung und im Alltag. Zusammengefasst eine sehr gute Fahrschule mit einer hervorragenden Fahrzeugflotte und nettem Personal.

Fantastische Erfahrung: This is a great international driving school, offering classes in English, Russian and German. I registered here in July 2023, started practical lessons in October and got my B197 license in early Jan 2024, so the whole process took about 6 months including the registration, theory, and two practical tests. My two teachers (Sydney and Robby) are very kind, patient and prepared me well for the test; they were both great at identifying my driving weaknesses and giving constructive feedback. On the administrative side, Debby made registration and booking classes very straightforward. For the most part I was averaging two double lessons (90 mins) a week. One thing I would have preferred is a bit more information at the registration stage about what to do and when -- in my case, I had to register for the license at my local Straßenverkehrsamt (road & traffic office), which took 6 weeks to process my application, and only after this was I able to book practical lessons. I think they should emphasise this waiting time a bit better at the beginning, since it speeds up the process for everyone and makes life a lot easier for those of us who are new to German beaurocracy! Overall, I can absolutely recommend the school for internationals living in or near Cologne.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich habe meinen Wechsel auf diese Fahrschule vollzogen und wurde von den Lehrern sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit aufgenommen. Ich wurde vom Herr Khomski unterichtet der mir sehr informativ alles beibrachte und bei Fehlern meinerseits mir immer alles ruhig und respektvoll erklärte. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und kann diese Fahrschule nur herzlichst weiter empfehlen..

Positive Erfahrung: Sydney is a great teacher and really teaches you how to drive and calm you down during the test and the watch outs you should have in Germany while driving ! 4 star is only for the administration in the driving school is not the best. Super hard to find dates for class, mine took 3 weeks…

Negative Erfahrung: Fahrschule Brose has disappointed me to the extreme - especially the unprofessional behavior of their office administrator Debby! The school claims that they are a unique school in Cologne for English speaking people and that is the primary reason for such a high number of non-native students. However, the demand is not appropriately met by the number of instructors present in the school. I requested to schedule 10 classes and ended up having only 3, because the rest were repeatedly cancelled. On top of that, the gap between the classes were at times 4-5 weeks. How can a person learn driving when the breaks are so long? Even after repeated requests the situation did not change. Additionally, although they claim they have a class duration of 90 mins in reality the classes are much shorter because the instructor is late (at least 15 mins) most of the time. However, one cannot complain about such things! As I found it out the hard way, they have put a clause in the contract that allowed instructors to come 15 mins late. So do not get caught by lower price for the lessons, as in reality you will end up paying much more than in other schools. Just when I thought that the situation cannot be worse - I was proven wrong! It usually took me min 50 mins to reach the location of the school and there were times when my appointments were cancelled just 15 mins prior to the start. However, when I got sick and cancelled an appointment on the same day, I was asked to either pay or provide a letter from doctor proving my sickness. When I refused to comply to such double standards, I was told to check the contract, in which the school has already created a legal cushion by which they can carry on with such otherwise unacceptable practices without fearing for any legal consequences. The bottom line is that the school can cancel the classes whenever they want, without even giving a proper reason for doing so, whereas the student must give a 48 hours notice for any changes even when one gets sick. However, I am very happy now that I finally decided to withdraw myself from this school. I now see it as one of the best decisions I have taken since I moved here. In the school (Fahrschule Südstadt) that eventually helped me to get my License in less than 2 months, I was welcomed by a much more friendly personnel and a great instructor , Cem! If you want to feel that you are a welcomed customer, want to learn driving and pass driving test - NEVER EVER go this school!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I think this is one of the best driving schools in Germany particularly for international people. It offers comprehensive driving lessons in English. It is also not expensive compared to other Farhrschules. Luckily, I had the chance to take part in driving classes with both instructors (Sydney and Robert). They were quite cooperative. They helped rectify all my mistakes in a way which gave me huge confidence to pass the driving exam. I would highly recommend this school to everyone.

Negative Erfahrung: Unglaublich schlechte Erfahrung gemacht! Die Fahrschule nimmt viel zu viele Fahrschüler an, kann jedoch den Angemeldeten keine Fahrstunden anbieten, da es nicht genug Fahrlehrer gibt! Man muss mehrere MONATE auf Fahrstunden warten und kann dann nur mit maximal einer Fahrstunden pro Woche rechnen. Die Fahrlehrer sind Inkompetent und bereiten nicht ausreichend auf die Prüfung vor.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Go for it !! My Indian driving license conversion was a joy ride with instructor Sydney. He trained me well in English and prepared me for German lingo which will be used in practical exam.

Negative Erfahrung: Keine guten Erfahrungen mit der Fahrschule Brose gemacht. Ich musste über ein halbes Jahr auf mögliche praktische Fahrstunden warten und dann wären es nicht mal mehr als eine Fahrstunde pro Woche gewesen. Es wurden viel zu viele neue Schüler angenommen bei so wenigen Kapazitäten.

Fantastische Erfahrung: I just completed my driving license with Fahrschule Brose. After trying another driving school in Cologne I am glad to say Brose offered a breath of fresh air. The staff were always honest with me, guided me through my initial anxiety behind the wheel, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The staff always communicated fantastically (in German and in English) and always did their upmost to schedule lessons around my calendar. All in all a fantastic experience and I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you Fahrschule Brose!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I recently got my driver's license at the driving school. Highly recommended! All employees were very helpful and although they were fully booked they still made it possible to get things done quickly. My driving instructor was very patient with me and everything worked out in English. Even the exams!

Negative Erfahrung: Do not go there. They do not know how to customer service works. From the first day I stepped in there was only problems from that moment on, the owner says crazy things, the teachers says that the translation on the exams are wrong, once the owner said that we need to be careful with pot holes during the driving exam, because if we drive over it and the examiner is asleep in the back he will wake up from you driving over the pot hole and say that you did something wrong and right then and there he says that you fail the driving exam. A few times the Ukrainian teacher when we were driving he took me to his house, he was eating food while I was driving... no respect at all. In case you didn't know the teacher decides which driving lesson is counted as mandatory, you can have driven 6 times as a learner and then 5 times as mandatory and after that he will put you back as a learner. So after you driving as a good conductor he will put you back as a learner for no reason, and they even warn you about it. I had to learn the hard way. Customer service is the worse, they take days to reply to you, and if you been in there you know how it is, there is a computer with WhatsApp webpage open and the employee, you send a message during the working hours today, the next day after they are open for some hours they still don't answer you, and when you complain about it, they don't even apologise for it. Like it is normal. Seriously, it may be a bit cheaper but the hustle of this place, they've got only 2 teachers, they often fully booked. Horrible, do not go, they are not trust worthy, and I truly believe some employees have taken money from me, because there they used to like or they still do to do everything in cash, and every 3 months the person on the desk change, I had missing classes and I couldn't prove because I was dumb enough to don't write down or work with bank transfers. Be careful with this place. I'd advice to don't go, they don't know how to operate a business.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Eine klare Empfehlung für alle Führerscheinanwerter Ich habe meinen Führerschein der Klasse B in der Fahrschule Brose gemacht und kann die Fahrschule jedem empfehlen! Schon die Theorieausbildung hat viel Spaß gemacht! Die Ausbilder sind alle sehr kompetent und nett. Durch das umfangreiche Unterrichtsangebot kann man die Theorie auch sehr schnell und flexibel absolvieren. Ich habe mich zu jeder Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und es haben sich stets alle Mühe gegeben, damit alles reibungslos klappt, auch wenn das durch die Coronakrise alles andere als einfach war! Auch bei der praktischen Ausbildung habe ich mich immer gut betreut gefühlt. Die Fahrstunden wurden schnell zu meinen Wochenhighlights und das Fahrenlernen hat Spaß gemacht. Ich wurde sehr gut vorbereitet und habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt! Durch und durch eine sehr erfolgreiche Ausbildung, bei der auch der Spaß definitiv nicht gefehlt hat!! Von dem Empfang bis zu den Fahrlehrern, wirklich eine tolle und organisierte Fahrschule! Hier macht Fahren lernen Spaß! Ich bin fast traurig, dass die Fahrstunden jetzt nach bestandener Prüfung vorbei sind.

Fantastische Erfahrung: All staff I met (Rainer, Robert) are very friendly and helpful! For my case, I had to convert my driver’s license to a German one for which both written and practical tests were required. I had limited experiences in driving a manual car but my instructor Robert, who speaks perfect English, is very patient and encouraging. I only had 5 double-lessons (90min) and successfully passed the practical test.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Ciao ho 16 anni e voglio fare la patente di guida, ho sentito in giro che si puo fare con un adulto con molta esperienza, ce qualcuno che mi puo aiutare? Oviamente con un istruttore italiano, sono venuto da poco e non so ancora parlare, se non si puo fare per la patente alora facio per la moto.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Brose Fahrschule kann ich auch sehr empfehlen. Insbesondere Herrn Khomski möchte ich als sehr kompetent und Fahrlehrer aus Leidenschaft hervorheben. Meine Prüfung liegt einige Jahre zurück aber ich habe die Fahrschule stets in bester Erinnerung.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Really good driving school in Cologne, Robert is a really good instructor i learn to drive with him in 4 months more or less (36 hours), he takes the good roads to make you learn quickly in different kind of situation, him and the staff speaks good english and are really here to help, i was in cologne for an internship and he does his best too see me at least twice a week so i can get my driving licence before leaving germany. Now i use to drive everyday in Paris since august and no problem so far on the roads. Thank's for everything :)

Negative Erfahrung: I was in a lookout for a Driving school in Köln where I could do the License training in English. I did find BROSE helpful in this regard since everything was readily available in English. The issues i had something to do with the attitude and helpfulness later on during the DRIVING Test stage. First of all, let me tell you i had been driving for around 14 years abroad and never had any problem. I was just suppose to take a test and get the license here in Germany. Firstly, on the test day, I asked the Instructor from the school who would assist me if he would help me with the German / English instructions from the GUY who is taking my exam from Tüv. He told me thats no problem at all. However later on, to our surprise the guy from Tüv said that I NEED to speak German and my driving school shouldnt translate. I was caught by surprise and got confused at many occasions. Secondly, the instructor from driving shcool just induced more anxiety in my during the test and even afterwards and created issues which were not even pointed out by the TÜV guy. I was surprised by his attitude. I failed the first test. I was mentally ready for everything now in the second test and I asked the instructor if they check Emergency Breaking as well these days. He categorically said NO and i dont have to worry about it. Guess what , I Was asked to perform Emergency BREAKING just under 10 mins of exam. Then again i kept my cool and finally passed the exam. Sometimes the intructor looked least bit insterested in the whole thing. I could let go of anything and everything but the overall attitude. Their sole job is to help us keep calm and focus on driving but if he/she is constantly nagging and complaining about useless stuff , it just enduces more anxiety in the driver which is NEVER ever helpful !

Fantastische Erfahrung: Great school, the main reason I chose it was that it had Theory in English and a russian speaking driving instructor. It was a wonderful experience, very friendly teachers and secretary, the classes are fun and my instructor was calm and patient with me. I heard about people having bad experience with yelling instructors in other schools, so I consider myself lucky that i ve never faced it and got right away a decent one!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Habe hier vor über einem Jahr mein Führerschein gemacht mit diesem weißen Mercedes C-Klasse. Ob es den immer noch gibt weiß ich nicht, aber zumindest viele A-Klassen. Der Fahrlehrer ist klasse gewesen (habe den Namen leider vergessen) und habe alle Prüfungen im ersten Anlauf geschafft!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Eine kleine aber in Köln scheinbar die älteste Fahrschule. Bin sehr zügig mit meinem Auto und Motorrad Führerschein fertig geworden. Immer direkt bei der ersten Prüfung bestanden. Das zeichnet eine gute Fahrschule aus!

Fantastische Erfahrung: After a bad experience in another Driving School, I found Fahrschule Brose, and I have to say it was the best decision I had to change schools. Everybody there is very nice, and the instructor, Herr Brose, is patient, have loads of experience and always explains everything to you in a way you can perfectly understand. They all speak English, a big advantage for beginners in German like me. I think the prices are fair and I passed my first try in the practical test with them despite my anxiety. I totally recommend it and I'm very thankful for all they did to me after my "trauma" with the other school! :)

Fantastische Erfahrung: Habe im Internet nach einer Fahrschule gesucht und die Fahrschule Brose hatte die einzige seriösen Auftritt gehabt. Bin also da vorbei gefahren um Informationen zu holen. Habe mich dann direkt da angemeldet und war begeistert! Fahrstunden waren immer lustig und bin auch richtig schnell fertig geworden. Beim theoretischen Unterricht war auch immer was los und dadurch konnte ich die Prüfung problemlos bestehen. Also wenn jemand noch keine Fahrschule hat und beim machen des Führerscheins auch Spaß haben will, dann ist diese Schule 100% richtig. Ich kann diese Fahrschule nur weiterempfehlen und ist auch in Köln super zentral! WEITER SO!!!

Fantastische Erfahrung: Ich bin mit meiner Führerschein Ausbildung in der Fahrschule Brose mehr als Zufrieden und kann ruhigen Gewissens eine Empfehlung für diese Fahrschule abgeben. Mit Rat und Tat stand mir die Empfangsdame Conni von Anfang meiner Ausbildung bis zum Ende zur Seite und hatte beruhigende Worte für meine Prüfung übrig. Zu Beginn graute es mich vor den Theoriestunden und ich hatte Sorge, dass es sehr langweilig werden würde, jedoch peppten Mario und Robby, die zwei Lehrer, den Unterricht mit ihrem Humor so auf, dass es Spaß gemacht hat und ich gerne zur den Theoriestunden ging. Meine Fahrstunden liefen ebenfalls sehr Humorvoll allerdings auch produktiv ab, es wurde sich Zeit für mich genommen und mit viel Ruhe und Geduld an meinen "Prüfungs-Schwachstellen" gearbeitet. So schaffte ich die Theorie und die Praxis beim ersten Anlauf!
